    Who and what is Carolina DeSouza?

    Carolina DeSouza is a designer who draws her inspiration from Colombia’s rich resources and artistic raw talent. Each piece is unique and handmade in Colombia with love. Carolina’s designs may be purchased online or at trunk shows.

    How long will it take to receive my order?

    If an item is in stock it will ship within 2-5 business days via UPS ground, 2 day or next day air. Please specify at checkout. For special order items due to the intricate nature of each handmade piece, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Some items may take up to 4 weeks. If that is the case, it will be noted on the product page and you will be notified at time of purchase.

     

    What are forms of payment?

    Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners and JCB. You can also choose to pay with Apple Pay, PayPal or Amazon.

     

    What is your return policy?

    Our artisans handmake each piece for our customer and we cannot accept returns. Exchanges can be made for store credit. We will accept exchanges within 7 days of product receipt. Please email returns@carolinadesouza.com to process your exchange.

    Trunk show purchases
    Only refundable in the form of store credit minus the fees paid to a particular charity.

    Damaged items

    If an item you have received is damaged, please contact client services immediately at hola@carolinadesouza.com, or call 202-625-4301.

    If possible, include images of all damage within your inquiry to client services, as this will expedite the mitigation process.

     

    Repair policy

    We will complimentary repair any fine jewelry item purchased within 6 months through www.carolinadesouza.com or proof of receipt from a trunk show. Any items over the 6 month limit, will be charged $25.00 an hour for labor and material costs. We do not support products that have been purchased from a non-authorized Carolina DeSouza retailer.      

     

    Suggestions to keep your jewelry in optimal condition

    • Keep products in the original bag to avoid scratching
    • Do not use chemical products to clean your jewels.
    • Put on jewels after dressing and remove before exercise, taking a shower, or going to the beach.
    • To avoid discoloration, keep your jewels away from perfume, lotions, cosmetics and seawater.
